Contrary to the conclusion one would draw by looking at my website, that I’ve fallen off the earth, I am still here and kickin’. 
It’s been a crazy four weeks in the Wilder household and I’m still trying to process everything.
I’ve been hard at work on the sequel to Kissing Cowboy, tentatively titled Loving Ranger, and if life would quit interrupting me…I can ship it off to my editor. <g> Seriously, I’ll post the prologue later today and you can have a sneak peek.
In other wackiness, I’ve had more teeth drama. In the past four months the same crown has come out twice now, YIKES! My dentist, aka Gus, said the next step is an implant as in a screw in my jaw and a Guss Press On Tooth. Are you cringing yet? I know I am. I’m not even going to talk about the cost as the debt of several third world countries would pale in comparison. Insurance? Yes, I have insurance it covers a whopping…zero dollars. Didn’t the insurance industry have a profit of 56 billion in 2009?
Okay, then!
I’ve spent a lot of time taking Mom to the doctors lately. Ever since her hospital stay in January she has been lethargic and having more issues with her breathing. They changed her medications which threw her into a rheumatoid arthritis flare up so if she weren’t miserable enough…then she couldn’t move very well. Can you imagine not being able to brush your own hair or turn the faucet on the kitchen sink? Not fun!
Her doctor changed her meds and she’s feeling better to a certain extent. We’re in the process of more doctors and more testing to see what exactly is going on with her. All I have to say is thank goodness for my Kindle! I don’t mind waiting for appointments as long as I have something good to read.
In other news, spring has sprung and I’ve been working outside quite a bit. My rose bed is going to be glorious this year – WOOT! I’ll have to take some photos for a before and after comparison.
