Every romance reader has at least one comfort read. This is a book(s) that you read over and over and it never feels stale. It’s like putting on a pair of house slippers after walking around in heels all day. Some of my favorite comfort reads are: Shades of Twilight & Mackenzie’s Mountain – Linda Howard Queen, Jackson Rule & Chance McCall – Sharon Sala Wishes – Jude Deveraux Silver Lining – Maggie Osborne What are you favorite comfort reads? |

I adore Sherrilyn’s work. I just re-read Fantasy Lover and laughed all the way through it.

I haven’t read that one, Connie. I’ll have to check it out.

A few of my comfort reads are Jennifer Crusie’s Welcome to Temptation and Faking It, and SEP’s It Had to Be You and Ain’t She Sweet. I also occasionally take Julia Quinn’s The Duke and I and To Sir Phillip With Love out for a little comfort

My favorite Crusie title has to be Anyone But You. And I love SEP’s early football heroes. Those books were so good. (happy sigh)

I also love Mackenzie’s Mountain. One of my fav re-reads is Absolutely, Positively by Jayne Ann Krentz and Dara Joy;s Knight of a Trillion Stars – my first Scifi romance.

Dara Joy – that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long while. I enjoyed Knight and Rejar and was it Mine To Take? Can’t remember now. They are on my Keeper Shelves somewhere.

I agree with Fedora, SEP’s books are my comfort reads too, also the Promises series by Sarah McCarty. Plus I love re-reading the first book by JD Robb, Naked in Death, when Eve meets Roarke.
